The 8th edition of Nisimazine Cannes 2013 is just out of the oven and ready to be read! Our 16 participants worked very hard to make this 90-pages e-book possible! They covered hard covering the Caméra d'Or films (first feature films) and short film competitions, making interviews, reviews and in focus articles to the films in competition!

From 1st to 8th July, NISI MASA–European Network for Young Cinema hosted Bright Young Screens, a workshop seminar where participants developed an intercultural dialogue and non-formal education through young film festivals.
The 6 day long seminar, which took place during FEST – Training Ground in Espinho (Portugal), was a total blast and among its guests, we had Marion Klotz (Memento Films), Paz Lázaro (Panorama, Berlinale), Scandar Copti (director and producer of “Ajami”), Liz Harkman (director manager of Encounters, Bristol) and NISI MASA friends Tomas Prasek (Eventival) and Wim Vanacker (NISI MASA’s Head of Script Department).

The Cine-Boat book is ready!
Read the amazing adventures of our sailors from Cine-Boat, a filmmaking workshop that was part of the Polyglot: on the way to Turku project, organised by NISI MASA with the support of the Turku 2011 European Cultural Capital and the European Cultural Foundation.
The book includes the anecdotes of each of the islands of the archipielago of Turku (Finland) and the description of the 6 short documentary films that the crews produced during the crossing.

The books includes a description of the 24 projects participating on the 6th edition of European Short Pitch, an initiative to support the development of young directors and encourage the European coproduction of short films.

This guide was published thanks to NISI MASA's experience with the project European Short Pitch.
Initiated in 2007, European Short Pitch is a scriptwriting and pitching project aiming to support the development of young directors and encourage the European coproduction of short film.
NISI MASA organised its European Short Film Script Contest from 2002. In recent years this has become a direct call for European Short Pitch project.
